Clinical Staff
Jill Zlomke McPherson, MA, LIMHP, Executive Director

Ms. Zlomke is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and graduated with a Masters in Educational Psychology-Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska in 2005. She began her career as a therapist at NMHC before serving as Treatment Coordinator at Excelsior Youth Centers (a residential treatment center), in Aurora, Colorado. Most recently, Ms. Zlomke was the Director of Outpatient Treatment at Pediatric Psychology Associates in Beatrice, Nebraska. Her areas of specialization include cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal relationships and healthy communications, PTSD, and general mental health services surrounding issues of depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Ms. Zlomke has specific expertise in assessing and treating adolescent females and young women with severe symptoms including traumatic histories such as domestic violence, abuse and sexual offense victims.

Lee Zlomke, Ph.D., DABPS, Clinical Director

Dr. Zlomke is a licensed psychologist and a Diplomate in Child Psychological Specialties. He has focused most recently in forensic psychology in developmental disabilities, children/families and adolescents. He provides evaluation and treatment services in Lincoln and Beatrice. He specializes in behavioral psychology assessments and interventions for children, adolescents, families and forensic clients. He has provided clinical direction and special consultations for numerous agencies regarding patients with severe and persistent mental illness/behavior disorders. Dr. Zlomke began his relationship with NMHC in September 2005. He is the founder and CEO of Pediatric Psychology Associates, a private psychology practice based in Beatrice, Nebraska.

Lisa Logsden, Psy.D., Staff Psychologist

Dr. Logsden is a fully-licensed psychologist who completed her doctorate at California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco. She provides treatment and psychological evaluations at both the Lincoln and Fremont offices. She specializes in children and families, adolescents, autism spectrum disorders (particularly Asperger's Disorder), severe and persistent mental illness, and substance abuse treatment. Dr. Logsden has been with NMHC since November 2010.

Cynthia Miller, Psy.D.

Dr. Miller is a fully-licensed psychologist who ccompleted her internship at NMHC during the 2011-2012 year and is now in her second year in the NMHC residency program. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Her doctoral program emphasized training generalist practitioners equipped to deal with the unique challenges facing rural and under-served populations. Dr. Miller has specialized experience in the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury and other neurologically based disorders. She has specific research interests related to traumatic brain injury, non-epileptic seizures, and other neurological impairments.

Tessa Mak, Psy.D.

Dr. Mak received her doctorate at The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute in Springfield, Missouri. She completed her internship at NMHC August 2013. She is currently in the first year of NMHC’s residency program and sees patients in the Lincoln and Fremont offices. Her training has focused on evaluation and treatment of children, adolescents, and families with a wide range of mental health diagnoses. She has also had specialized training in play therapy and trauma interventions.

Sean Thomas, Psy.D.
Julie R. Dublinske, M.A., LMHP, CPC, PLADC

Ms. Dublinske received a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Kansas and a Masters' in Counseling from Doane College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her interests and areas of expertise include teens and families, addiction counseling, dual diagnosis, and treatment of anxiety disorders. Her previous employment includes human service work with at-risk youth, caseworker, and addictions/dual diagnosis counselor.

Larka Vesper, MS, PLMHP

Ms. Larka Vesper graduated from UNL in 2014 from the Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Program. Her internships included experience with rural populations and medical family therapy. She provides treatment in the Lincoln and Beatrice offices. Her areas of interest include interpersonal relationships, women’s issues, grief, spirituality and the treatment of various disorders such as anxiety and depression.

Nancy Heller, MA, LMHP, CPC

Nancy Heller is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner who began working for NMHC in December 2001. She specializes in services for seniors and faith-based treatment. Ms. Heller graduated in May 2000 with a Master of Arts from Grace University. In recent years, Ms. Heller has been an independent contractor working with NMHC focusing primarily on in-home therapy.

Administrative Staff
Thomas McPherson, Practice Administrator/Community Outreach Coordinator

Mr. McPherson oversees community outreach and marketing efforts, IT, and general administration of the practice. He graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver with a Bachelor's Degree in English and later obtained a certification in Technical Writing and Editing. Mr. McPherson is a native of Colorado who moved to Nebraska in 2010.

Rose Zlomke, MA, LMHP, HR/QA Coordinator

Mrs. Zlomke served as Quality Assurance Program Specialist and Policy Coordinator at a State of Nebraska facility in Beatrice, Nebraska for 14 years. She currently oversees quality assurance, personnel performance, and policy updates.

Typhannie Mitchell, Administrative Coordinator

Ms. Mitchell joined NMHC in 2012 as a part-time employee and since then has grown to become our Administrative Coordinator. She graduated with an Associate's Degree in Human Services from Southeast Community College in Lincoln. In addition to coordination of Letters of Agreement with the State of Nebraska and patient care, she assists the NMHC Accounts Manager and Executive Director with billing and insurance.

Valerie Fisher, Patient Care Coordinator

Ms. Fisher is the first voice you hear when you call NMHC and is our primary scheduling coordinator. Along with her history as a nurse and caregiver, she has years of experience ensuring both patient and therapist needs are met.

Stephanie Holka, Accounts Manager

Ms. Holka's primary responsibility is to verify insurance coverage, payments, and billing practices.

Amanda Otero, Patient Care Coordinator

Ms. Otero was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Boulder, CO to attend classes at the University of Colorado. She has worked as a student intramural research assistant for the National Institutes of Mental Health and assisted with the research of the epidemiology of mood disorders. She is primarily responsible for front desk operations and patient chart organization. In addition to her administrative duties, Ms. Otero is working toward a career in clinical psychology.
