Jill
Jill Zlomke McPherson, M.A., LIMHP - CEO and Executive Director

Ms. Zlomke is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and graduated with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology-Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska in 2005. She began her career as a therapist at NMHC before serving as Treatment Coordinator at Excelsior Youth Centers (a residential treatment center), in Aurora, Colorado, and later, as Director of Outpatient Treatment at Pediatric Psychology Associates in Beatrice, Nebraska. As owner and CEO of Nebraska Mental Health Centers she oversees day-to-day operations and supervises provisionally-licensed providers and Master’s-level psychology practicum students. Her areas of specialization include cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal relationships and healthy communications, PTSD, and general mental health services surrounding issues of depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Ms. Zlomke has specific expertise in assessing and treating adolescent females and young women with severe symptoms including traumatic histories such as domestic violence, abuse and sexual offense victims. Ms. Zlomke serves as the primary supervisor for provisionally licensed mental health practitioners and for Master’s-level psychology practicum students. She is certified to provide specialized Parent Child Interaction Training (PCIT) and provides this specialized intervention with a number of families. Additionally, she is the coordinator of the Domestic Violence Program utilizing the Duluth Model.

Jill is a Nebraska native who hails from Beatrice and has also spent time in Miami, Florida and Denver, Colorado. She currently resides in Lincoln with her family. Her interests outside of work include music and art.

Melissa Lafferty, Ph.D. - Internship Training Director, Supervisor, and Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Lafferty is Nebraska native and a graduate of both NMHC’s Psychology Internship and Residency Programs and the University of Nebraska-Kearney and Walden University. She focuses her services within the Lincoln and Beatrice office sites. Dr. Lafferty provides and coordinates NMHC-provided services for Beatrice Public Schools Special Education. She also serves as a mental health provider/consultant with the Blue Valley Community Action Partnership that provides Head Start services and Early Intervention Services for Southeast Nebraska. Dr. Lafferty has experience conducting psychological, psychoeducational, social security disability, and court-ordered evaluations. She co-supervising the within agency Parent Child Interaction Training (PCIT) training and is certified to provide this specialized intervention.

Dr. Lafferty enjoys spending free time with her family and enjoys supervising her daughters’ Girl Scouts’ activities.

Ashleigh Clarke, Psy.D.

Dr. Clarke obtained a Master’s Degree from Pacific University in Counseling Psychology and a second Master’s Degree from Marywood University in Clinical Psychology. She is a proud graduate of NMHC's Psychology Internship Program. She utilizes a process oriented, client-centered and strength based approach integrating Interpersonal and Cognitive-Behavioral techniques with her clients. She has a passion for working with adolescents, young adults, and women who have experienced trauma or are experiencing stress related to life changes and adjustments. She has a goal to utilize her skills for social change and advocacy as she develops into a professional psychologist.

Dr. Clarke is passionate about rescuing, fostering and adopting senior dogs and providing a loving home for even those with medical needs.

Cindy Cisneros, Ph.D.

Dr. Cindy Cisneros received Psychology (B.A.) and Counseling (M.A.) degrees from La Sierra University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Walden University. Dr. Cisneros has a special interest in helping people become unstuck and move towards a life that reflects their values and aspirations. She likes to help people put together the puzzle pieces of their story, especially for those who have experienced traumatic events or patterns in their life.

In her spare time, Dr. Cisneros likes to learn about cultures and languages, exploring healthy foods, and spending time with her pets, including hiking and listening to podcasts.

Todd Middagh, M.A., LIMHP

Mr. Middagh is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with his BA in Sociology and his Master's in Counseling from Doane College in 2005. He has worked at Visinet, Inc. as a Family Support Supervisor and Omni Behavioral Health as a home-based therapist and therapist for the Lancaster County Truancy Diversion Program along with Lincoln Public Schools. He focuses his services in the Lincoln and Beatrice office sites where he provides services within Beatrice Public Schools, providing assessment and therapy services, and facilities a Men’s Probation Group. Mr. Middagh also provides pretreatment and court-ordered assessments, initial diagnostic interviews and uses a variety of evidenced-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). He is a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) trained therapist and is a certified to provide Sex Offense Specific assessment and intervention.

Todd likes to watch scary movies, read books, bowl, and hang out with family and friends.

Jamie
Jamie Monfelt, M.A., LIMHP

Ms. Monfelt is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling from Doane College. She has worked with the Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice systems, including serving as a Director of Child Welfare Services. She has also previously served on two governor-appointed committees including the Commission of the Protection of Children, and the Women’s Health Initiative Council. She serves as NMHC’s Rural Services Coordinator that promotes NMHC within the rural communities by collaborating and networking with rural referral sources and attending community meetings regarding development of ongoing mental health services, providing teaching/training on rural mental health, and supervision for clinical staff in rural areas. Ms. Monfelt also works with individuals and families with multi-morbid, multi-systemic issues, including but not limited to, severe and persistent mental illness, individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities, and substance abuse. Her particular areas of interest also include assessing function, identifying risk, and teaching therapeutic interventions to other providers, students, and community members.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, playing volleyball, jogging, and chasing sunsets.

Anne
Anne Vrbka, M.A., LIMHP, LADC

Ms. Vrbka received her Bachelor of Science degree with minors in Sociology and Anthropology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Doane College in 2008. She has worked in direct care as a family support worker at Visinet, Inc., and as a Psychiatric Tech at Lincoln Regional Center prior to obtaining her licensure. She is dually credentialed as a LADC and LIMHP.

Anne is a feline enthusiast and also enjoys all the flora and fauna she can, as evidenced by the time she spends outdoors in her yard at home and all the plants in her office!

Amanda
Amanda Dieckgrafe, M.S., PLMHP

Amanda started with us last year as an M.S. Counseling Intern and has graduated to Staff Therapist. She is a native Nebraskan who completed her undergraduate in Elementary Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). She worked for eight years as a Fine Arts Teacher where she shared her love of music and art with her students in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Amanda completed her Master of Science in Counseling through Divine Mercy University (DMU) located in Metro Washington D.C.

Amanda enjoys spending time with her large family, playing the piano, bike rides and bonfires. She also enjoys card games, road trips, cooking and baking. Amanda looks forward to serving the community and meeting new people.

Kaelee
Kaelee Salmans, M.S., PLMHP

Kaelee is a Nebraska native and graduated from the University of Iowa with her B.B.A. in Marketing and B.A. in Dance in 2014. Kaelee completed her Master’s Degree in 2019 at Hope International University based out of Anaheim, CA. Kaelee started her therapy career as an intern at the Lydia House at the Open Door Mission in Omaha, NE. From there, she has been a crisis response therapist and staff therapist at Lutheran Family Services in both Omaha, NE and Lincoln, NE and staff therapist at Sikhona Holistic Therapy and Wellness located in Lincoln, NE. Her areas of expertise include trauma, depression, anxiety, and crisis situations. Kaelee is basic trained in EMDR and has completed Level 1 Gottman Training. Her additional clinical interventions include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. Kaelee's approach is client-centered and focuses on assisting clients with their own individual goals and aspirations for therapy.

Lee Zlomke, Ph.D. - Lee Zlomke, Ph.D., Associate Director of Internship Training, Secondary Supervisor, Director of Residency Training Program

Dr. Zlomke served as the Internship Training Director beginning with the 2011-2012 internship class until November 2016. He received his Doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He has 35-plus years of experience in the provision of psychological services and providing professional leadership and training. He specializes in behavioral psychology and interventions for a wide array of clinical presentations and has a specialty in developmental, forensic and school psychology. He has provided clinical direction and special consultations for numerous agencies regarding individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and persons with developmental disabilities.

Dr. Zlomke has a background in technical education and in his spare time he enjoys golfing, woodworking and fixing whatever happens to be broken.

Lisa Logsden, Psy.D. - Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Logsden completed her doctorate at California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco in Clinical Psychology. She completed her internship at Colorado Western Regional Mental Health Centers in Grand Junction, Colorado, and a two-year residency at Nebraska Mental Health Centers’ (NMHC) Psychology Residency Program in Clinical Psychology.

Dr. Logsden is a native of the San Francisco, California area and has participated in triathlons, 5K runs and marathons throughout the country.

Nancy Heller, M.A, LMHP

Nancy is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner who began working for NMHC in December 2001. She specializes in services for seniors and faith-based treatment. Ms. Heller graduated in May 2000 with a Master of Arts from Grace University. Ms. Heller has been an independent contractor working with NMHC for several years focusing primarily on in-home therapy.

Kristi Weber, APRN-NP

Ms. Weber is a Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has provided behavioral health services to incarcerated individuals, chronically mentally ill adults and mentally challenged individuals in the community since 2008. Ms. Weber joined NMHC in 2014.

Stephanie Kentopp, M.A., LMHP

Stephanie is an experienced therapist and graduate of Doane College in Crete, Nebraska. Ms. Kentopp is an independent contractor working with NMHC primarily providing services to adults and couples. Stephanie and her husband are the parents of two young boys and business owners.

Cody Moslander

Cody has worked with Nebraska Mental Health Centers since 2020 in a variety of roles. A native Nebraskan, he has also worked and studied with others from around the world and seeks to understand and empower each person as the unique individual that they are. He believes that there is hope in any situation and that better days are possible. Cody has a great opportunity through the University of Nebraska at Omaha internship program to provide counseling services at Nebraska Mental Health Centers at a reasonable rate to clients who are not currently under insurance.

Cody looks forward to meeting new people and discussing how best to help you when working together with you on your path in life.

Tommy
Thomas McPherson - Practice Administrator/Community Outreach Coordinator

Thomas (he/him) has the responsibility for the day-to-day administration management of NMHC. He manages the practice’s public relations and marketing activities and serves as the technical coordinator for computers and other technological needs.

Thomas graduated from Metro State College (now Metro State University) in Denver with a B.A. in English with minors in History and Journalism. He moved to Nebraska in 2010, and obtained a certification in Technical Writing. When he’s not at work or tending to his daughter he’s usually busy bothering his two dogs or working on the yard and garden at home. He enjoys pursuing art, graphic design, keeping his comic book stash safe, and most anything geeky.

Serena
Serena Moore - Administrative Coordinator

Serena completed a Bachelor of Arts degree, focusing on psychology, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017. Serena assists in managing the billing systems and filing insurance claims. She also manages the Letters of Agreement billing with the State of Nebraska.

Serena is an avid horseback rider who has worked to train horses for the purposes of therapy. She also enjoys traveling to western Nebraska for hunting with family members and friends.

Andrea Gartner - Accounts Coordinator

Andrea is a native of Elgin, Nebraska, graduated from Broken Bow High School and has an Associate of Office Professional Degree. She serves as our Accounts Coordinator and manages patients’ accounts, payment plans, and insurance questions, and insurance authorizations, billing and denials. .Andrea also assists in managing the NMHC services and billing for Nebraska Probation Office. She has been an advocate for domestic violence programs and sexual assault survivors and worked closely with local law enforcement and court personnel to find new ways to overcome domestic violence and substance abuse in her local area.

Cody Moslander - Client Care Coordinator

Cody joined the NMHC team in July of 2020 as our Client Care Coordinator and continues to serve in a variety of roles. He enjoys working with people and takes satisfaction in helping clients to receive services. Cody received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska- Kearney in Advertising/PR and Philosophy. He is currently enrolled in a Master’s program at the University of Nebraska-Omaha in Counseling.

Cody is originally from Pickrell, NE and enjoys reading, walking/hiking and sports. He has also experienced travel with the National Guard and attended graduate school in England.

Alexis
Alexis Duncan - Client Care Coordinator

Alexis started at NMHC as an undergrad intern in January 2023. She recently graduated from University of Nebraska- Lincoln with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences. After graduating she began her new role of Client Care Coordinator and psychometrician. Alexis grew up as an army kid moving around the country, living in places like Colorado Springs and Northern Virginia. Alexis enjoys supporting Husker sports, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
