What
are Dual Disorders ?
When one of us suffers from a Dual
Disorder, it means that more than one illness
is effecting our lives and causing us to lose
quality in day to day living.
Frequently, when professionals refer to
Dual Disorders, they are speaking of someone
who suffers from substance abuse or dependence
and a mental health concern such as
depression, anxiety, psychosis,
obsessive-compulsiveness, and other concerns.
Treatment consists of combining
substance abuse treatment and mental health
treatment. Combining groups, classes, AA,
family, and individual treatment.
Now is the time to begin taking care of
yourself!! If you don't call us call someone
and do it now!!

There
are those of us that suffer from more than one
disorder at any given point in our lives. We
may need a program that offers treatment for
both chemical dependency and mental health
disorders.
Please consider that the beginning to
taking care of yourself is admitting that you
have a problem and then seeking help for that
problem.
